Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Pracler collects through this website (pracler.com), how we use it, and what will apply when our planned Google Business Profile integration becomes available. Pracler is currently in development and is not yet open for customers.
Who we are
Pracler is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at mike@pracler.com.
What this website collects
- No accounts, forms, cookies or analytics. This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load third-party scripts or fonts.
- Server logs. Like any web server, ours records basic technical information for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for that purpose.
Legal basis
We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We process emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Hetzner Online GmbH hosts this website on servers in Finland (EU).
- Zoho provides our email service, hosted in its EU data centres.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.
Google Business Profile integration (planned)
We are developing a feature that will let Pracler customers connect their own Google Business Profile to Pracler. It is not yet available. When it launches, the following will apply:
- A profile will only be connected when the business owner signs in with Google and explicitly grants Pracler access. We will request only the permissions needed for the features the customer uses.
- We will access business information, reviews and posts on the connected profile only so the customer can view and manage them in Pracler: for example, updating opening hours, reading and replying to reviews, and publishing updates.
- Pracler's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We will not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. We will not let people read it except with the customer's permission, for security, to comply with the law, or where it has been aggregated and anonymised.
- Customers will be able to disconnect at any time from within Pracler or from their Google Account's security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When a profile is disconnected, we will delete the access tokens and the Google data we stored for it.
We will update this policy with full details before the integration is made available.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email mike@pracler.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Pracler is a business service and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
